The book for the next Reader's Review will be Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. Ms. Rehm's discussions are always thoughtful and spirited. You can listen on the radio at WNYE 91.5 FM in NYC, or stream online.

I don't know anything about this book but I generally trust Diane Rehm's taste. It is a Booksense Best book of the year. That characterization doesn't hold much water with me. The books on that list I usually feel disconnected to and no affection or interest in whatsoever.
