The pages of The New Yorker come to life in a weekend-long celebration of art and ideas. The eighth annual New Yorker Festival will feature interviews, screenings, readings, musical performances, debates, and excursions around the city.

The three-day program will be announced in the September 17 issue of The New Yorker (on newsstands September 10). Tickets will go on sale at noon on September 15 at Ticketmaster.com.

I've been told that this is extremely expensive to attend. Keep checking maybe the prices have come down to reasonable levels for this year.
