Transition is back!

Transistion is a really great magazine that Henry Louis Gates and Kwame Anthony Appiah put out from Harvard. The latest issue is No. 96. They have been bounced around from a variety of distributors including Duke University Press. They seemed to have found a new home at Soft Skull Press. Which is very cool thing! It might be tricky but I will try to carry it at Indigo.

They publish really great reviews and articles about Africana issuses. The Village Voice calls it "the only decent forum for black intellectuals."

Geoff wrote for them for a while. Actually that's how he first got me. We were on our second date and he showed me his article in Transistion. I played it off like it was no big deal but I was floored!
