Waterboarding

I really can't believe that I live in a country that questions whether waterboarding is torture or not. It's sick, sick, sick! Waterboarding is torture and any country that practices it doesn't deserve to be called civilized.

Kaj Larsen, a former Navy seal and a journalist with Current.tv (an amazing channel, by the way) underwent a waterboarding session for your viewing pleasure. See for yourself if waterboarding is torture or not.

Keep in mind that this is the third time he's been waterboarded as it is part of the Navy seal training. The Navy Seals go through this so that they will know how to withstand torture if captured. Kaj knows what to expect. Kaj also knows that his interrogators won't kill him; a prisoner undergoing interrogation will not. A detainee will believe that they will die ... and maybe they will. Do you really want to be party to this? Our tax dollars are paying for it.
