"Off the Page": A New Radio Program on Books

Fridays | 11AM -12PM EST
WBAI 99.5 FM

"Off the Page" is a new radio program that concentrates on the book industry with an emphasis on the work of black authors. This is the second week that I've listened to the program and it's really pretty good. Esther Armah, the host, has booked interesting guests so far and her questions are provocative and demonstrate a strong knowledge of the book industry. It is a healthy surprise to have a fresh new radio program for us book lovers.

There has been some problems in terms of figuring out the time of the show. It is still, as of this date, not on the WBAI website. But it does exist and is available to listen to online if you go to the website at the appropriate time. Maybe in time it will be available as a podcast.

Update: It looks like the next show will be on Thursday, August 30th at 11 AM. I don't know why. Just go with the flow.
