In August everything slows down in the book world

Okay people let's face it, it's August, the month when everything moves a bit slowly. In the book world things come to almost a screeching halt. Some may call it being lazy, others say we are being subdued, I prefer to think of it as "going with the flow." People in general are a bit sleepy as we deal with the last of the summer heat. So forgive any slowness on my part in this waining month of the season. There are a few books that come out now, but for the most part the ones to pay attention to will come out in the fall. So enjoy yourself. Read the last of you summer book list and take it easy. That's what August is all about.
