Look who is on the cover of this month's Locus Magazine, the premiere magazine of the Science Fiction & Fantasy field — none other that Nalo Hopkinson! And you go, girl! I have to give a lot of credit to Nalo for kicking up some serious dirt in the Scifi field. She breathed life into the Carl Brandon Society, help to make sure there is a Octavia E. Butler Memorial Scholarship, she seems to everywhere at once in terms of events, and seems willing to lend her name to every worthy cause. I'm also glad to finally have a much needed break in the steady flow of white men on the cover of this magazine. So congrats, Nalo, a well deserved recognition!
