The Katrina Disaster ... Months Later

These very powerful pictures were taken by a photographer friend of mine of the Lower 9th Ward months after the Katrina Hurricane. A number of the pictures were places that belong to his family. As you can plainly see, not much has been done towards the clean up. The Karina disaster was a turning point in American politics. Everything is different now. Especially for the people of the Lower 9th Ward. This country seems to need black blood to spill before change happens. I don't know what more to say about this. It's just very sad.
