New books in the store

The Wild Trees: A Story of Passion and Daring by Richard Preston is about a really cool subject: the great redwood trees of California. I listened to the author interviewed on Diane Rehm and I was fascinated. Although I think that it was creepy for him to trick his way onto the climbing team. I hope that this book results in the preservation of these great trees and not their destruction from idiots trying to climb them without concern for their survival.

Also I included two biographies in the store today:
